Roc 35 Wall Panelling

About

ROC 35 is a multifunctional space located in an old factory in the emblematic Barcelona neighborhood of Poblenou. A neighborhood that has evolved from its industrial past to become the most creative and innovative district in the city.

ROC35 is a project designed for architecture and gastronomy to dialogue with tradition and avant-garde.

Minos Digenis Arquitectos commissioned us to create an emblematic piece for the project: a wall paneling in which a giant squid played a leading role.

We proposed to perform a milling with a pattern of low-relief points in two different tones to highlight the silhouette of the squid from a distant point.

We work with a sandwich panel of three boards to give rigidity and to provide the necessary contrast for the graphical expression of the figure.
